1. What if I'm a bit younger than 40?
We are age inclusive and all are welcome, the tutorials and guides are best suited to women with mature skin.
2. Will I get access to Amanda?
Everyone will have access to the Live Q&A sessions hosted by Amanda in a private Facebook Group. Amanda is on call, to answer all of your questions and guide you every step of the way, simply pop your dilemma into the Private Facebook feed and Amanda will respond either within the weekly live video, via message.
3. I don't know if I have the right makeup and makeup brushes?
The first tutorial in the online course is all about "Gearing Up". Amanda will run through with you a list of Essentials, much of which you will probably have in your makeup purse or drawers. And if you don't, Amanda will give you a list of recommended products, hand-picked to flatter and enhance mature skin. 4. Can I do the course at my own pace, or do you have to attend the classes in synch?
We surveyed you to determine what you wanted. The outcome was you enjoy going at your own pace. All of the tutorials are laid out like building blocks, starting with Tools/Brushes, Skin Care and Skin Prep, moving to eyes, foundation and so on until we've created a full face, all 25 videos are available. The series is designed you don't feel overwhelmed. Practice, take your time, practice some more. Watch, practice, then gather up your questions for the live Q&A and get live, real-time feedback from Amanda. You will have access to all of the Members Only content for 6 months, so plenty of time to watch, practice ... enjoy and then come back to whenever you need a "refresher"
5. How is this makeup course different to your Free Live Get Ready with Me Classes?
The Shine Sessions masterclass series is very different from the live Get Ready with Me classes. It is more focused on techniques, the and showing you "how-to". Each topic area has several bite-sized video tutorials. Amanda takes more of a deep dive into each topic area, really breaking down the steps, so it's easy for you to follow and DIY. While the videos are short, the step-by-step approach is broken down slowly, making it easy to practice along, without all the interruptions of the live sessions. Plus everything is housed in one convenient location! No more digging around the interwebs, scrolling for hours looking for relevant, age-appropriate content.
6. I have really sensitive and problematic skin. Will this makeup course be okay for me?
Absolutely. While product recommendations are made, the goal of the course is to arm you with the skills to confidently do your own makeup, using the products you may already have and love. Amanda suggests a fabulous selection of clean makeup and skincare that focuses on nurturing and nourishing mature skin.
7. Do I have to pay for the Makeup Course upfront or can I go on a Payment Plan?
You can pay upfront or use the Payment Plan, enabling you to pay monthly for 6 months.
